New Zealand's Olympic Legends

The Kiwi Crew
During the Olympics, I watched the rowing that was held in London, 2012.
First, one man told all the rowers to listen up, then, suddenly, a loud buzz went off. All the rowers started the race.
The rowers were slow at first, then they started to speed up. At the beginning, NZ was at the back.
When we passed the first quarter, we went in front of some rowers, in the second quarter, we went in front of some more rowers, then, in the third quarter, NZ went in front of a couple more rowers.
Suddenly, NZ realised they still had two more rowers to pass. They could see the finish line. There was no time to lose. The NZ rowers picked up speed and WHOOSH!
They passed one more canoe. They picked up more speed on the calm, still water and WHOOSH again! They passed the last canoe.
NZ heard the crowd cheering, GO NZ! Go NZ! There was the finish line so close.
Bang! NZ WON!
Finally, our rowers got out of their canoes. NZ was so exhausted and proud of themselves that they could not stand up.
While I was watching the race, I was scared at first, but I had high hopes and knew we would get a place.
